Marianna has written hundreds of professional articles for a range of publications, from educational magazines to parenting and lifestyle favorites. She has also enjoyed a successful career as a teacher in New York City schools, an adjunct professor at NYU, and as the Director of Education at the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum.

She has made appearances in a variety of media, including the award-winning film documentary "A Field Afar", MOTH storytelling events, and the Columbus Day Parade as part of the 100 Italian American Authors collective. Marianna has also made significant contributions to the literary and educational spheres beyond her career as an author. Her dedication to literacy education has transformed the lives of disadvantaged and cognitively challenged individuals, and her advocacy for Italian American literature and culture has brought her work to audiences across the United States. Her work has appeared in respected outlets such as InStyle and Odyssey. Marianna's has also contributed to numerous anthologies, magazines, and publications. Her family's memoirs, "Given Away: A Sicilian Upbringing", has also been translated into Italian, and resonates with readers across countries. In her writing, Marianna explores the rich and complex theme of Italian immigration as seen in the "Italians of Brooklyn", (Arcadia Publishing), her versatility as a writer is evident in "Brooklyn's Best: The Michael Behette Story", a captivating account of a Brooklyn firefighter. Among these honors are The Sons and Daughters of Italy Literary Award, The Morgagni Silver Medal Award, and The Garibaldi-Meucci Museum Recognition Award, all of which celebrate her remarkable contributions to the Italian American community. Marianna Biazzo Randazzo, the daughter of Sicilian immigrants, is the author of five books, whose writing has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards.
